Keep your book intact

Two puzzles use paper tools: the Cipher Wheel (Days 11 and 24) and the Window Card (Day 17). They are printed at the back of the book to be cut out, but you do not have to cut your copy: print them here on ordinary paper and cut those instead.

  1. Print on A4 or US Letter paper at 100% / actual size, not "fit to page", so the Window Card lines up with the Day 17 grid.
  2. Thicker paper or card makes the wheel easier to turn.
  3. Cut along the dashed lines and pin the two discs together at the centre (a paper fastener or a pencil point works).

No printer? The same pages are at the back of the book (pages 65 and 67); their backs are blank, so cutting them does not damage any puzzle.
